This Privacy Policy explains how MUSETTE LIVE processes any personal data we collect from users MUSETTE LIVE Service (hereinafter referred to as “Service”), including the MUSETTE LIVE App, a video streaming application developed by us.

1. What information do we collect

MUSETTE LIVE collects information about you using the methods described below. Please be aware that some types of information are required in order for us to provide the Service to you.

Information provided by users

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you create an account on MUSETTE LIVE app, use the Service, such as uploading content, participating in activities in the app, or contacting us. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree to share some or all of the following personal information:

  • Registration information, such as your date of birth, phone number (or email address, if applicable), password, user identifier, and language;
  • Profile information, such as your first name, maiden name, last name, nickname, gender, profile images;
  • Payment information, such as full name, purchase amount, payment method, billing address, credit or debit card number, or other payment information;
  • Contact information, such as your contact list on your mobile phone, which includes the phone numbers in your address book;
  • Social network information, if you choose to register an account on MUSETTE LIVE app using your social network accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter, or other social network accounts, you will be asked to provide your social network details. If you choose to register with your social network account, see the section “How do we handle your social logins”.

You must provide us with true, complete, and accurate personal information, and you must notify us of any changes to that information.

 

Information collected through the Service

We may collect some or all of the following personal information about you when you use MUSETTE LIVE Service. Some of the information is collected automatically when you use the Service.

  • Device identifiers, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device characteristics, operating system, and language preferences;
  • Other location information, such as information based on your SIM card;
  • App usage information, such as how and when you use the Service, and other technical information;
  • Information from other sources: We may collect limited information from public databases, marketing partners, social network platforms, and other third parties. For example, social network profile information such as name, gender, date of birth, email, current city, state, and country, user identification numbers for your contacts, profile picture URL, and any other information you choose to make public. Within a reasonable time upon receiving your personal data, but no later than one month, we will notify you about the source of information and the type of information we have gathered about you.

This data is largely used to maintain the security and functionality of the Service, as well as for internal analytics and reporting purposes.

 

2. How we use your information

We use your information for legitimate business purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.

We use your personal information for the following objectives in general:

  • Provision of services: to deliver MUSETTE LIVE Service to you;
  • Customer management: to send you information about our products, services, and new features, as well as updates of our terms, conditions, and policies;
  • Marketing and promotional communications: to send you marketing and promotional materials. You have the option to unsubscribe from our marketing mailings at any time, see the section “Your rights”;
  • Connecting: to allow you to send invitations using your contact list or identify your contacts who are also users of the Service;
  • Payment: to process and handle your in-app purchases, payments, refunds, or payouts.
  • Communication: we may use the information provided by you to contact you when you make a feedback request, and to provide assistance to you when you encounter any issue while using the Service;
  • Internal analytics and reporting: to perform data analysis, identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, evaluate app performance and user experience.

We may aggregate and anonymize this information so that it is not associated with particular end-users and does not contain personal information. We will not use identifiable personal information without your consent.

 

3. How we share your information

We only share information with your permission, in accordance with the applicable laws, to provide you with the Service, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

5. How do we handle your social logins

The information collected is information that you make public on your social network accounts, such as name, email address, friends list, profile image, and others.

We will only use the information we collect for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise stated in the Service. Please keep in mind that we have no control over and are not responsible for how your third-party social network provider handles your personal information. Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements, otherwise, we will only keep your personal information for as long as it is required or authorized for the purposes set forth n this Privacy Policy. No purpose in this Privacy Policy requires us to maintain your personal information for more than one year after the end of the user account’s idle period.

When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it; if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

 

7. How do we keep your information safe

We have put in place necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect the security of any personal information we process. Please note that, however, we cannot guarantee that the Internet is completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, you are responsible for transmitting personal information to and from the Service. These rights may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) data portability, where applicable. If we are processing your personal information based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note, however, that the lawfulness of the processing prior to its withdrawal will not be affected.

If you want to review or edit the information in your account at any time, or if you wish to terminate your account,

We shall deactivate or remove your account and information from our active databases upon receiving your request to terminate your account. However, we may keep some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and/or comply with legal requirements.

You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us at info@musette.live. You will subsequently be removed from the marketing email list; however, we will continue to send you service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account.

According to the laws of some countries, you may have the right to request access to, amend, or delete the personal information we collected from you in certain circumstances. Please contact us if you wish to review, update, or delete your personal information, We will respond to your request within 30 days.

 

9. Data breach

Unauthorized access to, collection, use, disclosure, or disposal of personal information constitutes a privacy breach. When MUSETTE LIVE believes you are in danger of substantial harm, you will be notified about data breaches. A data breach, for example, could result in significant financial loss or harm to your emotional or physical health. If MUSETTE LIVE learns of a security breach that has resulted in or may result in unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of personal information, it will promptly investigate the situation and notify the appropriate Supervisory Authority no later than 72 hours after learning of it, unless the personal data breach is unlikely to pose a risk to the public.

 

10. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers, as well as some mobile operating systems and mobile applications, offer a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting that you can use to express your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activity tracked and collected. There is no defined technical standard for identifying and executing DNT signals. As a result, we presently do not respond to DNT browser signals or any other system that automatically expresses your choice to not be followed online. If a standard for online monitoring is adopted in the future that we must comply with, we will notify you in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

 

11. California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have certain rights when it comes to accessing your personal information. Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, allows California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes, as well as the names and addresses of all third parties with whom we shared personal information. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Service, you have the right to have undesirable data publicly posted on the Service removed. Please contact us, including the phone number (or email address if applicable) associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California, to seek the removal of such data. We will make sure the information is not visible to the public on the Service, but it is important to note that the information may not be completely erased from our systems.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, the “last updated date” will reflect the date of the change. While we will make every effort to inform you when important changes to this Privacy Policy are made, you must review this Privacy Policy frequently to ensure that you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
